World Book Day

We are the creative force behind World Book Day, a nationwide campaign promoting reading and reaching millions of school children every year. Its our job to come up with fresh exciting ideas for the campaign annually, working with illustrators such as Jim Field, Sophy Henn and Liz Pichon alongside campaign director Kirsten Grant. This year, we started a three year initiative to get children sharing a story for ten minutes a day. We art directed a visually energetic shoot with 35 local school children which were then illustrated around by Jim Field, who created small booky characters. For the teen campaign we worked with Supermundane, the idea was to get teens to start talking more about books with the umbrella idea being 'bookclubbing'. The campaign is engaging, exciting and immediate, generating interest and inspiring children everywhere to pick up a book. Its close to our hearts and we love being part of World Book Day.
